The Outstanding Faculty Advisor Awards are intended to recognize those with exemplary advising practices, demonstrating their commitment to student success and fostering the academic and career goals of their advisees.
Advising plays a critical role in students’ performance, progress, and engagement while also supporting the University’s retention and graduation efforts.
This award annually recognizes five faculty advisors who demonstrate their commitment to quality student development and engagement through advising.
By nominating your faculty advisor, you help the University recognize someone who is committed to quality student development and engagement through advising, a key component of student success. An outstanding advisor is helpful, knowledgeable about curriculum and academic policies, and assists you in identifying and achieving your personal, educational, and career goals.
Every spring semester, students are asked to submit nominations! At the end of the semester, the winners are revealed.
